Alex Correia
Town Council

Alex Correia was born and raised in Stratford CT; a graduate of Bunnell High School in 2003, Alex then attended The Citadel in Charleston South Carolina graduating with a Bachelors degree in Political Science in 2007 and a Master’s in Business from RPI in 2011. Looking to settle down, Alex and his wife Jordan moved to Windsor in 2013 after being attracted to the town’s diverse, strong community and affordable cost of living.

Alex works in the aerospace and defense industry as a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Pratt and Whitney where he  ​
has been employed for the past decade. Alex has logged countless volunteer hours at the Bloomfield foodbank, YMCA Camp Ingersoll, Habitat for Humanity, Hilltop Farm in Suffield and was an assistant wrestling coach for both South Windsor and Wethersfield High school.  From 2011 to 2016 Alex was a long serving member on the board of the Hartford Wanderers Rugby Football Club where he also played for 6 years. 

Since moving to Windsor, Alex volunteered as the campaign coordinator for the successful Scott Storms campaign for CT’s 60th district and serves as a Vice Chair on the Windsor Republican Town Committee. In 2016, Alex was selected to serve as an alternate on Windsor’s Town Planning and Zoning Commission.
