Mission of the Windsor Republican Town Committee
The Windsor Republican Town Committee proudly stands for Republican values such as limited and competent government, personal liberty, and equality of opportunity.
We believe that when individuals are empowered to make decisions for themselves—in a civil society where government serves to set clear and reasonable boundaries--everyone benefits. We believe that free markets--driven by entrepreneurship and reliant upon personal property rights--have done more to bring prosperity and freedom to the impoverished and oppressed than any other combination of factors in the history of mankind. We believe excessive regulation and a confiscatory tax culture tends to disproportionately benefit only the most well-connected. We are focused on the election of local Windsor candidates for Town Council, Board of Education, and Constable. We are active in the election of our local State Assembly (Representatives) and State Senators. We are concerned with state and federal affairs, but our main focus must remain on the issues that most directly affect the citizens of Windsor, such as the town budget and services, the quality of the school system, and public safety. We are your friends and neighbors, and we would love to have you join us in bringing responsive and fiscally responsible government to Windsor and in improving our schools. |
