David Gillette

Born in Idaho and raised in upstate New York, Dave has lived in Windsor since 1974,

Dave has served Windsor in the past as a member and Chairman of the Windsor Human Relations Commission, as a member of the Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission and as a member of Windsor Charter Revision Commission.  He was first elected to the office of Constable in 2009.

Civic activities include being a member and former Director of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, and a member and director of the Windsor Civitan Club. 
Dave is a graduate of Syracuse University, and received the Chartered Life Underwriter designation form the American College.   Dave served as a commissioned officer in the US Army and Army Reserve achieving the rank of Major.

Dave is self employed, the owner of David Gillette Associates, and has been employed in the insurance and financial services industry for over 30 years.    He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and past President  of the Hartford Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.

Dave lives on Poquonock Avenue with his wife Ruth Fahrbach.  Together they have five children and nine grandchildren.
